We had a great time in Austin...that city is the @#$%! Cool to check out the arena where the Texas Longhorn basketball team plays. This performance was for a charity event with Ne-Yo. The band was on that night for sure. Enjoy.
Hey everyone, here's a nice video of me performing with Fab at Summer Jam 2011 @ MetLife Stadium. This was a great performance and we were treated to Fab bringing Ryan Leslie out to sing with the band. S/O to @Dj4our5ive, @Cheltune, @Royal_Buggy, and of course @MyFabolousLife.
Summer Jam 2011 was pretty awesome....as it always is. Here's the first SummerJam of 2011 we did with Fabolous. You can hear the band REALLY play at the end of this video.
Here it is...In honor of the Super Bowl halftime performance...The Time by the Black Eyed Peas. They performed it briefly during the show which was actually pretty cool. I don't know how many people they had with glowing suits...but I want one. Enjoy the song. Please share it, download it, play it for others, burn it to a CD...whatever you like. Your comments are always appreciated.
I'd like to personally thank Sarah from Peace Belt Productions and Timothy Dark for both picking up the remixes each week on their blogs. If anyone else would like to add the songs to their blogs please do!
Hey all...Here's remix #4. Katy Perry's Firework. I hope you enjoy and listen and im especially happy about the bridge(My favorite part of the song)! Please download for FREE if you wish. Let me know if you have any suggestions for a future remix or would possibly like to collaborate.
Hey guys. Here's the 2nd offering in my Year of the Remix project. I love Akon, but I couldn't find any acapella's from his album Freedom, I did manage to find this song.
This remix was a bigger challenge for me as I didn't want to copy that euro dance David Guetta type track. So I tried to go more my direction. Im really proud of the half-time section after the choruses.
Hey guys, so here's my first remix of 2011. La Roux's Bulletproof might be one of the catchiest songs I've ever heard. I loved the original version of the song and it was a no-brainer to open up with this one.
My good friend Ibe, @MrSoliman on twitter, did a killer remix of this song about a year ago. He is a monster producer and his work ethic is contagious.
Interesting sidenote: For those that don't know I co-produced with Ibe on a Faith Evans track for her album "Something About Faith". You aren't likely to hear that song co-produced but you WILL hear Ibe's track "Can't Stay Away" feat. Keyshia Cole on her album.
So to help promote myself and my production work...I've decided to attempt to post a remix of a song every week to my blog. If you have any song ideas please let me know...Since I plan to do at least 51 remixes this year I should have time to get to a couple of suggestions. If youre interested in working with me on something I'm interested in having you. Hit me up at dan@dantheband.com.
Here's a clip of the Christmas concert I performed with Fabolous. We ended up going on out of sequence...we weren't supposed to go on last but ended up doing so. All good...we still performed for 4,000 screaming fans. I didn't get to spend Christmas with my family but the show must go on. Enjoy.
